A university degree with a lot to communicate

The site contains a vast amount of diverse information, which is also interconnected at various points.

An international degree that combines the world of fashion with the world of communication; that is what the Villanueva University Center teaches and what it needs to communicate online.

They already had a website, but it was built on a proprietary system that was difficult to manage and improve. We offered an open software solution: WordPress, and rebuilt the website to their specific needs.

The complexity of this website lies in the number of different data types they manage: degree information pages, faculty profiles, student profiles, a calendar, event information, faculty publications, a blog, fashion news, student news, etc.

The website’s homepage is structured around a card-based concept that provides a general overview of all new content at a glance, in addition to displaying information about the degree.
The faculty has its own space in this infinite horizontal slider, where information about each member can be accessed.
All pages feature a design that constantly reinforces the brand identity of this site.
Alumni have their own space on the web where their stories can be explored, organized by graduating class, and where alumni activities can be promoted.
The most important aspect of a university center is the transfer of knowledge in all directions between faculty, students, and society. Here, students share their ideas and showcase their own projects.
The website also features a calendar to display upcoming events related to the degree; furthermore, any registered user can upload an event.
